Improved
Noise Rejection
ATI's Digital Noise Canceling Communication Microphone will improve speech intelligibility and reduce the transmitted ambient noise through any communication system. The microphone significantly improves noise rejection without impacting the real-time speech signal.
Tested in Complex Army and Navy Noise Environments
The boom-mounted microphone design has been tested in the U.S. Army's VIS communication system inside the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, in the U.S. Navy's flight deck communication system, and a variety of other complex noise fields.
The Digital Advantage
The Digital Noise Canceling Microphone real-time noise attenuation and speech transmission provides an additional 5-20 dB of overall noise rejection compared to passive noise canceling microphones.
The attenuation performance of passive noise canceling microphones is generally limited by the physical construction of the microphone as shown in the theoretical plots below.

Even in Worst Case Scenarios
The Digital Noise Canceling microphone will outperform passive designs and is operational in reverberant, diffuse, and broadband noise environments.
